Your First Visit to Our Sheboygan Practice

Our goal is to make your experience as comfortable as possible, so we want you to know exactly what to expect on your first visit. When you enter our clinic, you will be asked to fill out intake paperwork. Another option, that will save you a little time, is to print off your paperwork from this website before you come. Once the paperwork is finished, we will ask to make a copy of your insurance card (if applicable). We do this so we can verify your chiropractic benefits.
Next, you will visit with the doctor and he will ask you many questions about your health. He will then palpate (touch) your back to check for dysfunction. Depending on what the doctor determines, and your history, you may need to get x-rays. You will be scheduled to get x-rays at the end of your first visit. You will usually receive no treatment on the first visit because the doctor likes to examine the x-rays and get the full picture of your spine before treatment. If you are in extreme pain, or have some previous experience with chiropractic, you may ask the doctor for some care on your first visit.
Plan about 45 minutes to one hour from start to finish. Things you need to bring with you:
- Paperwork (if you chose to print it from website),
- Insurance cards (if you don’t have insurance, don’t worry… we work with everybody),
- Your smile and any questions or concerns you may have.
